About the Role

Microsoft House is seeking a talented and driven Cloud Engineer to join its Glasgow-based team. This permanent role offers a hybrid working model, requiring just one day per week onsite. You'll play a key role in designing, implementing, and supporting cloud-based solutions using Microsoft technologies, with a focus on O365, M365, and Azure.

Key Responsibilities

Design and deploy scalable cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure.
Manage and optimize Microsoft 365 and Office 365 environments.
Ensure security, compliance, and governance across cloud platforms.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cloud transformation projects.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot cloud-related issues.
Automate tasks and processes using scripting tools (e.g., PowerShell).
Stay current with Microsoft cloud innovations and best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

Proven experience in a Cloud Engineering role, ideally within enterprise environments.
Strong hands-on expertise with:

Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, networking, identity)
Office 365 and Microsoft 365 administration
Azure Active Directory, Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online

Experience with cloud security, monitoring, and automation.
Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, CLI).
Relevant certifications (e.g., AZ-104, MS-100, MS-101) are highly desirable.
