To help us deliver our medical image analysis solutions to large clinical trials we are hiring a Azure Developer (Full Stack) on a permanent full-time capacity.

Purpose of the Role:

The Azure Developer (Full Stack) will focus on improving IXICO's IXI platform workflow engine to simplify and speed up study configuration and deployment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Deliver technical solutions as a hands-on engineer, driving the development of web applications and RESTful APIs.
• Design and develop new features and reusable libraries with security and maintainability as core principles.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot issues and provide timely solutions and workarounds.
• Take ownership of codebase improvements and systematically address technical debt.
• Participate actively in team and project meetings, contributing to collective success.
• Function as a key member of a self-organizing Agile team, engaging fully in Agile ceremonies.
• Maintain high coding standards and champion engineering best practices across the team.

Qualifications and skills required for the role:

Essential

Technical Expertise:

• Strong proficiency in React (substantial experience required).
• Strong proficiency in C# and .NET development.
• Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio.
• Hands-on experience deploying to Azure, including serverless architectures (Azure Functions).
• Working knowledge of microservices architecture.
• Experience with Event Driven architectures.
• Proficiency with Cosmos DB or similar NoSQL databases.
• Strong understanding of dependency injection principles.
• Familiarity with Azure API Management.
• Solid experience with Git workflows (pull requests, branching, merging).

Desirable

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably using Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of Azure B2C directory and identity frameworks.
• Advocate for TDD, BDD, and test automation.

Experience & Methodology:

• Proven experience working in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban).

Education:

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent field.
