What is the role?
We are seeking a highly motivated Azure Technical Specialist to be responsible for driving new Fabric customer adds with partners in indirect ecosystems.
Showing a high level of drive, you will be results orientated and excel in working in a dynamic sales environment. You will have the ability to pitch and understand the Azure Fabric ecosystem and value proposition to partners and their customers to enable sales to new customers.
If you join us, this is what your day to day will look like:
- Identify and work with a selection of new and current Azure partners for FY25 that are willing to grow their number of Azure customers.
- Utilize Microsoft targeting tools like Cloud Ascent and programs to drive new customer conversations and identify on-prem to Cloud migration opportunities.
- Build and follow up on a plan with each partner to achieve monthly Customer Add targets across selected resellers and usage on Microsoft programs.
- Implement a Rhythm of Business both with selected Partners and with local Microsoft Stakeholders to check progress, provide feedback, help needed, and implement corrective action if required.
- Drive Partner outreach through available media (email, Teams).
- Mandatory attendance of Microsoft driven SureStep events like SureStep Summits and Bootcamps
- Active participation within the SureStep Community to do best-practice sharing.
Is this the role for you?
Skills
To be successful in this role you will have some of the following skills and experience, and the desire to develop in other areas:
- +1 years of work experience in a sales/marketing role in the IT business.
- Preferably experience working at a Data, Analytics & AI solutions partner/ IT Services company, Azure partner or competing technology vendor.
- Basic understanding of Azure, Data & AI and the Microsoft partner ecosystem.
- Preferred advanced user of Office suite. Preferred familiarity with Azure and or Dynamics products.
- Preferred familiarity with Azure and/or Dynamics products and SKUs.
- Azure Fundamentals (AZ900) to be completed within 2 months of hire date. Further Azure certification recommended.
- Min 2 years working in IT sales, marketing or business development.
