Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Backend Engineer with expertise in .NET Core / .NET 6+ to support the development of scalable backend services, particularly within AI-driven projects. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams—including Machine Learning engineers, application developers, and data specialists—to deliver secure and efficient solutions that integrate AI models into production environments.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using .NET Core / .NET 6+.
• Collaborate with client-nominated Lead Backend Engineer to deliver on AI-related initiatives.
• Work closely with ML engineers, app developers, and data teams to ensure smooth integration across components.
• Develop and maintain APIs that expose AI models and integrate Large Language Model (LLM) prompts.
• Support the integration of trained machine learning models into product features and workflows.
• Build robust backend systems to enable data collection, transformation, and storage.
• Participate in end-to-end testing with QA analysts and developers to eliminate security risks and prevent data leakage.
• Design backend services to support data ingestion pipelines for model training, personalization, and monitoring.
• Implement access controls, SSO integration, and enforce security policies for sensitive endpoints and models.
• Secure APIs and data pipelines through proper encryption, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.
• Experience with maintaining and refactoring backend systems supporting AI workloads.
• Familiarity with feature stores for consistent AI feature management across training and inference environments.
