Due to the continued expansion of the Complex Care at Home team we have vacancies for Band 3 Healthcare Support Workers. Your role will be to deliver nursing care to patients with complex healthcare needs under the supervision of a team of registered nurses.
You need to have a good standard of education, a caring attitude and the ability to be flexible to service needs. Also important is being able to work as part of a dedicated team, complemented by good communication skills and the enthusiasm to learn.
Successful candidates will be expected to obtain, if they don’t currently have, a Diploma in Health and Social Care Level 3 or equivalent.
The ability to drive patient vehicles is essential so a full UK driving licence is required.
This is a 24 hour service and you will be required to work day and night shifts.

Qualifications
Essential criteria
- NVQ Level 3 in Direct Care or Equivalent or working towards obtaining.
Desirable criteria
- NVQ Level 2 in Direct Care
Experience
Essential criteria
- Experience of working at Band 2 or equivalent in a health or social care setting
Desirable criteria
- Experience of working with multidisciplinary teams
- Undertaking clinical duties e.g. bowel management, venepuncture etc.
- Experience of working with individuals with complex needs
