The post-holder will provide comprehensive training, user guidance and support to improve business and clinical processes through electronic applications and systems for the Trust and satellite sites across the local health community.
The post holder will be expected to take responsibility for aspects of the day-to-day administration and management of training provision. The role includes a focus on the exploitation of technology and solutions throughout the Trust, facilitating the realisation of benefits identified from the introduction of new technology.
As part of this role you should be able to deliver end user training of Trust systems and standard desktop software applications to all levels of staff across the organisation in line with the standard operating procedure for IT Training; Function as a subject matter expert across a variety of topics; Produce and update training content including eLearning and user guidance.

You will be required to contribute to planning, design and delivery of complex IT systems training.
This will include providing advice and instructions to groups of clinical and non-clinical staff according to their identified training requirements.
In addition, you will also assist with the development and production of end-user training, quick reference guides and competency-based tests.
You will work alongside the wider Clinical Informatics Team, Change and training teams to engage clinicians and managers in the design and development of EPR training raising awareness, informing and engaging colleagues across the Trust.
You will also be responsible for enrolling, maintaining and updating learner records for auditing and reporting.
You should be suitably qualified possessing a degree level qualification and/or relevant experience working in the NHS using Clinical Systems.
Experience of working with Cerner EPR would be advantageous. You will have excellent planning and organisational skills, good interpersonal skills at all levels, and be able to present complex information to a variety of audiences.
To be successful you will need good knowledge of Information Technology in a clinical systems environment and be prepared to take intensive learning of EPR applications and workflows.
