We're expanding our Oncology services at The London Clinic and have a fantastic opportunity for a Band 6 Charge Nurse/Sister to join our Oncology Inpatients team within the state-of-the-art Duchess of Devonshire Wing.

Our flagship building for cancer care is equipped with modern private rooms, leading-edge treatment facilities, and a calming environment that supports both patients and staff. It's home to a multidisciplinary cancer service that delivers systemic anti-cancer therapy (SACT), imaging, palliative care, and more - all under one roof.
About The Role
- Salary: £46,201 - £56,482 (Depending on experience)
- Location: Duchess of Devonshire Wing, The London Clinic, Marylebone
- Hours: Full time - 37.5 hours (rotational days, nights and weekends)
This is a senior clinical role for experienced oncology nurses ready to take the next step in their leadership journey. You'll play a key part in shaping patient care, supporting the team, and maintaining the highest standards across our busy inpatient unit. Our Oncology service is growing rapidly, and this is an ideal opportunity to be part of that transformation.
Key Duties
- Act as Nurse in Charge and deputise for the Ward Manager
- Deliver and oversee safe administration of SACT
- Manage acute oncology presentations using the UKONS AOS triage tool
- Provide high-quality end-of-life care and support to families
- Lead and mentor junior staff, supporting education and development
- Take an active role in audits, governance and service improvements
Skills And Experience
- NMC Registration (Adult)
- A post-registration qualification in Chemotherapy Administration/SACT
- IV Passport and SACT Passport
- Minimum of 2 years' oncology nursing experience
- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage complex clinical situations
- Confidence with central venous access devices and SACT delivery
- Calm, compassionate communication and excellent teamwork
