We are very excited to recruit a Senior Practice Educator to join the division with a clear remit to support staff development, access to training, supervision, and career progression.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for mentoring, training, and development, whilst being motivated to learn new skills with the understanding that engagement with staff and service users along this journey is fundamental.

With training and development being a central element in staff retention, the role will be closely linked with the development and training needs of new and existing roles and will be a supportive resource to clinical staff, Team managers, pathways leads and the wider Trust Education team.

To create an environment where staff feel motivated, supported, engaged, well led and are able to engage in professional and career development conversations.

To offer and develop programmes of training and education that facilitate the on-going professional development for all levels of clinical and non-registered clinical workforce.

To act as an expert resource, demonstrating high standards of clinical expertise in the delivery of mental health care.

Maintaining a high clinical profile working with mental health services to educate and develop knowledge and skills.

Establishing and maintaining an effective clinical educational environment that supports staff in the delivery of safe, high quality, evidence-based care for 0-25 year olds (and up to 35 years for our Early Intervention in Psychosis pathway) and their families.
