Medical Students - You must have 6 months clinical care experience.
SWFT are now looking to support all our student nurses and medical students to work as a Clinical Support Worker providing care to our patients in an Acute and Community setting.
Joining the bank as a student will give you first-hand healthcare experience to provide person centred care and will allow you to work flexibly around your studies/work placements and support you in developing your skills. Being an employee on the bank will also give opportunity to experience different ward areas and find areas of expertise or specialities which you enjoy – you decide where you would like to work and what shifts you want to work!
We use our internal bank to supply staff to ward areas to cover sickness, increased demand or staff shortages. We already have a well-established bank of highly skilled workers for those who wish to work flexible around personal commitments and now is the opportunity for you to join us. Being a student we recognise that your plans can change so this allows complete flexibility.
We have opportunities across our four main hospital sites – Warwick Hospital, Stratford Hospital and the Leamington Rehabilitation Hospital.
The Clinical Support Worker will undertake high quality, caring and compassionate personal care and associated duties under the direction and supervision of the registered professional and working as part of the multi-disciplinary team.
As a Clinical Support Worker (CSW) you make a valuable and important contribution to the delivery of high quality healthcare in the Trust. Your role is to support the registered professional in the delivery of safe, effective, compassionate care to patients and their relatives.
