Bank Housekeeper - Rivers Hospital - Bank Hours
The Role:
We have an opportunity for a Housekeeper to join our team of staff in the Housekeeping department to support maintain the high standards of cleanliness in our hospital that we are proud of. We recognise a clean hospital is an essential requirement in assuring high quality patient safety and care within all our services. As a Housekeeper, you will work as part of a team to ensure that all standards of cleanliness are maintained in the hospital. You will operate according to Ramsay Policies and Procedures, maintaining hotel service standards. This is a bank role working on an “as and when required” basis, you will be required to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence.
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Competence in literacy and numeracy
- Good Communication skills essential
- Prior experience is preferred but not essential as training will be provided
- Demonstrate compassion and commitment to the delivery of high-quality housekeeping.
Duties of this role include:
- The role is fully flexible between departments and to the needs of the business.
- Undertaking the day to day cleaning of patient, public and employee areas.
- Carrying out all cleaning duties in accordance to cleaning schedules and policies.
- Maintaining a safe and pleasant environment for patients, visitors and employees.
- Flexibility to work in all departments (inc Theatre areas)
- Responsibilities will include carrying out cleaning duties, understanding the cleaning requirements of different areas, surfaces and coverings.

Our Bank staff play a crucial role in maintaining service levels during peak times or staff shortages, ensuring that patient care remains uninterrupted.
