Job Summary
Join our Bank team - we have weekday and weekend shifts available for Band 5 or 6 Physiotherapists depending on experience, across all wards.
Current availability is predominantly on the orthopaedic and stroke wards at the RUH, however there is also a variety of shifts available across all the acute wards including the Emergency Department, General Medicine, Surgery, ITU,cancer and palliative care and Older People's teams.
We are looking for motivated team players who will advocate for patients' needs whilst supporting discharge planning, flow, and acute rehabilitation within fast-paced multidisciplinary teams.
Main duties of the job
The role ideally requires the candidate to have a range of rotational experience, the ability to work autonomously in an often demanding and changeable environment and the confidence to communicate effectively with a wide spectrum of different healthcare professionals, community colleagues and family members.
Mandatory training will be available via the Bank process and internal induction training and competency awareness is available as part of the post.
