This fantastic opportunity awaits dynamic, motivated Specialist Occupational Therapists looking to develop clinical, operational and leadership skills, as we are currently seeking experienced occupational therapists to join our therapy (rotational) team as Bank staff.

The successful candidate is required to be able to demonstrate the Trust values, the responsibilities of the job description and person specification. You should have proven experience of working in the relevant areas of clinical therapy services.

The Occupational Therapist Has To Attend Both Ad Hoc And Regular Work Within The Band 6 General Rotations. The Rotations Happen On a 9 Monthly Basis Across The Following Clinical Teams

  • Vascular and Amputees
  • Trauma and Orthopaedics
  • Hand Therapy
  • Health Services for Older People
  • Rapid Response / A&E
  • Acute Stroke and Neurology
  • Complex Medicine

The successful candidate should be able to :-

  • Provide specialised Occupational Therapy (OT) service

to patients treated within RFH services in the given clinical area. This

requires working under guidance and incorporating evidence-based

practice (EBP) in the management of patient care.

  • Clinically supervise and guide the professional work of less experienced

Therapy staff and students as appropriate, while complying with

professional and departmental standards of practice.

  • Assist in operational issues in the absence of the Therapy Team Leader.
