Exciting Temporary Opportunity Voluntary Services Officer (Approx. 11 Weeks)
We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity to join our Voluntary Services Department as a Voluntary Services Officer . Were seeking a capable, confident, and proactive individual to provide temporary cover for approximately 11 weeks as part of our dedicated bank team.
In this role, you will work closely with our Volunteer Services Co-ordinator, supporting the recruitment, onboarding, and retention of our valued volunteers. Your contribution will help ensure our volunteers feel supported, engaged, and able to make a real difference.
The role will be based primarily at our Poole site , with occasional work required at our Bournemouth site .
Key Duties Will Include
Supporting volunteer recruitment, including carrying out DBS and other mandatory checks.
Coordinating volunteer inductions and arranging start dates with wards and departments.
Visiting volunteers on placement to provide support, addressing and escalating issues where necessary.
Providing cover and assistance for the wider Patient Experience team.
Managing volunteer attendance by following up on absences and reporting to the Co-ordinator.
