Description

A well-established UK law firm is looking to add two lawyers to its Banking & Finance team as part of a growth phase. This is a role aimed at lawyers who want to continue doing proper banking work without the intensity or rigidity that often comes with it.

The practice covers general Banking & Finance, with particular strength in real estate-backed and structured finance. Clients include lenders, investors and corporate borrowers, with a strong pipeline of work in healthcare and living-sector projects. Sector exposure here is useful but not essential.

The role will involve:

Advising on a broad range of Banking & Finance matters
Drafting and negotiating facility agreements and related documents
Leading matters with partner support
Building and maintaining client relationships
Supporting and mentoring junior lawyers as the team grows

This role is likely to suit someone who:

Has solid Banking & Finance experience (4-8 years PQE) from a recognised practice
Enjoys transactional work but wants something more sustainable long term
Values flexibility and balance without stepping away from quality or progression
