Kimpton Fitzroy Hotel is in the heart of Bloomsbury just a 2 minute walk from Russell Square tube station where the Piccadilly line runs 24hrs a day on Fridays and Saturdays!

You’ll play a vital role in delivering outstanding service and enhancing our guests’ experience from the moment they walk through the door.
What Makes This Role Special:
- Be vital part of menu designs, activations and take overs
- Not your average bartender role. You will host the bar, do the bar floor and obviously bartend on the rotation schedule.
- Taking full ownership of guest experience from the door to the drink
- Taking part in extra activities, like bar take overs, external events like Cocktails in the City & be ambassador of Fitz's bar
- Support and guidance for cocktail competitions to put your name of London bar scene map

- Previous experience in a restaurant, bar, or hotel setting as a server or bartender

Duties And Responsibilities
As Minibar Attendant, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation in the following:
- Stock and re-stock the mini bar amenities at the property as per standards.
- Manage and maintain adequate inventory of mini bar items as per standards
- Work with an empathetic attitude and if there is any problem which cannot be handled, must contact supervisor.
- Ensure that all guests are greeted courteously and attentively in the working area.
- Follow the leadership of the captain or supervisor on shift.
- Engage in minibar delivery as per the predetermined standards and sequence.
- Recommend and promote items as directed by supervisor.
- Maintain at all times the highest standard of social skills.
- Report any maintenances faults following the required steps.
- Maintain and update of guest history files and disbursement of relevant information ensuring guest requests and preferences and/or food allergies are implemented whenever possible.
- Maintain efficient administration within the department preparing and submitting operational reports on time.
- Check and collect supplies from the stores according to resort procedure.
- Maintain a high standard of personal appearance, grooming and hygiene.
- Knowledge of all safety, security and emergency procedures related to my position in line with brand and statutory requirements.
- Ensure the privacy of guests, partners and residential owners, and apply an extra level of protection to any sensitive personal data and use confidential information only to perform my job.
- Ensure all equipment of the department is kept clean and in good working condition.
- Upsell all property facilities and activities.
- Attend meetings and training as required.
- Perform any additional tasks given to me by supervisor/management.
Qualifications
To execute the position of Minibar Attendant, I must have the required qualifications, technical skills and experience in a similar role in luxury hotels with proven results and includes the following:
- High school diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years’ experience in a similar hotel operational setting. Hospitality diploma/degree from a recognized hospitality school is preferred.
- Technical skills include MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. I am also familiar with various hotel systems including POS, PMS and CRM platforms. I have good understanding of scheduling work, and knowledge of cleaning procedures, chemicals and surfaces.
- Fluent in English.
