As a Benefits Specialist within the People Services team supporting UK, Ireland, and South Africa, you will deliver an excellent people experience by providing high quality, efficient services to support company benefit and wellbeing programmes, such as group health plans, life and disability insurance across the employee life cycle. You will handle escalated subject matter issues to provide a seamless service to employees and partners. You will work collaboratively with the Centre’s of Excellence Total Rewards Team to support ongoing service improvement projects.
You will operate remotely and report into the HR Shared Service Centre Lead - EMEA.
Here's What You'll Be Doing
- Implement, communicate, and administer employee benefits, serving as the main contact for employees regarding benefit eligibility, coverage, and other related matters.
- Co-ordinates benefits processing (enrolments, terminations, changes, beneficiaries), internally, and with external vendors.
- Work with Payroll to ensure accurate processing of benefits
- Manage processing of monthly benefit invoices
- Support annual compliance and audit processes.
- Help plan, testing and launch of annual open enrolment processes through the Total Rewards Hub.
- Processes all benefits documentation, including policies, summary plan descriptions, letters, forms, and guidance material following any required changes and ensure these reflect our brand and EVP.
- Support benefits projects and the implementation of new benefit and wellbeing programmes and systems whilst supporting onboarding of new businesses through acquisition and merger.
What Do You Bring To The Role?
Essential
- Previous experience working in an HR or Benefits admin team
- Knowledge of health and wellbeing benefit plans with a knowledge of statutory, legislative policies relating to benefits administration.
- Data driven, confident analysing and preparing reports of large data sets and using data to frame discussions.
- Methodical and organized to meet deadlines and prioritise a busy and varied workload.
- An ability to work with a wide range of individuals across all levels and geographies.
- Able to drive to identify 'better ways' of working to improve efficiency.
- Experience with HRIS systems preferably Workday
- Technical knowledge of excel including the development of spreadsheets with formulas, functions, pivot tables and lookups, preferred.
Desirable
- Educated to associate degree level with a qualification in Human Resources, or similar field of study or a willingness to study towards a relevant qualification.
- Experience of Ticket Management systems such as ServiceNow
- Experience of working with benefits in a matrix / shared services model
- Experience working in a within a large complex organisation.
