What’s the role?
The Delivery Manager for the Better Care Fund leads a change programme to enhance health and wellbeing in Lewisham. The post oversees complex projects, support's local schemes, and ensures policy compliance and Section 75 governance. Strategic planning and cross-sector collaboration are central to the role. Based in the Adult Integrated Commissioning Division, they will be required to connect networks across health and care.

What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a dynamic leader with strong political awareness, negotiating and influencing skills, and the ability to manage complex programmes across diverse stakeholders and virtual teams. The role demands innovation, design thinking, and cross-sector collaboration to deliver ambitious strategies and turn concepts into action. The post holder will work seamlessly across Lewisham Council, Lewisham Care Partnership, and Neighbourhood Integrator groups, driving integration and partnership to maximise the Better Care Fund’s impact. A deep understanding of Lewisham’s population and the importance of relationship-building is vital for success.
Location
The job is primarily based in Laurence House, but we operate a hybrid approach where you will be required to work both in the office and from home on a regular basis.

Salary
£62,922 - £67,500 per annum (SMG1)
N.B: All appointments will be offered at the minimum spinal column point (SCP) for the grade of the role. The only exception to this will be when matching current salary (up to the maximum of the scale), which is subject to evidential proof.
