BI Technical Engineer

The VDS policy includes coverage for negligence resulting in human injury and provides legal representation during criminal and disciplinary hearings. Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a BI Technical Engineer with flexibility for work-from-home arrangements but some attendance to the Knutsford office will be required.

The BI Technical Engineer would report into Head of Business Intelligence, and as part of the team the role will support the Head of Business Intelligence to develop, maintain and grow the Society’s Data intelligence capability.

Working closely with all business stakeholders to define, identify and deliver the MI requirements that support informed decision making to improve our services and support our members. As part of the BI team, you will be responsible for identifying data quality issues, proposing solutions to improve data quality, and working/consulting with operational teams on improving data processes.

Will also work as part of a project team as new platform or process solutions are introduced to ensure reporting and data is considered throughout the project.

Key Responsibilities

Primary duties include:

• ​Data Integration and Management: Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines to integrate various data sources into our data warehouse. ​Ensure data definitions are created and maintained to be consistent across the business and aligned with Key Performance Indicators.​
• Dashboard Development: Create and manage interactive and visually appealing management information dashboards to support business decision-making.​Da
• ta Analysis: Perform complex data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can drive business strategies and improve operational efficiency.​Col
• laboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, marketing, compliance and operations, to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs​Commu
