Alison Brooks Architects (ABA) is seeking a Bid Co-ordinator to join our London studio and support the practice’s work-winning activity across competitions, tenders, frameworks and strategic appointments.
ABA is an internationally recognised, design-led architectural practice, known for culturally responsive, research-driven work across housing, education, cultural and civic projects in the UK and internationally.
About the role
This is a key role within the practice, working closely with Directors, Associates and project teams to coordinate and deliver high-quality bid and competition submissions. The position suits a highly organised, articulate individual with a strong interest in architecture and the built environment, and offers exposure to major UK and international pursuits.
Key responsibilities
• Coordinating EOIs, RFQs, RFPs, competitions and framework submissions
• Writing, editing and proof-reading bid narratives, CVs and case studies
• Managing programmes, deadlines and compliance requirements
• Liaising with internal teams and external consultants
• Supporting interview and presentation materials
• Maintaining bid libraries, records and post-bid reviews
• Monitoring tender portals and circulating opportunities
About you
• 2–4 years’ experience in a bid, marketing or coordination role within architecture, design or professional services
• Excellent written English and strong editorial skills
• Highly organised, detail-driven and confident managing multiple deadlines
• Proficient in Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office
• Confident working collaboratively with senior staff and design teams
• Authorised to work in the UK
A background or education in architecture, design, arts or humanities is desirable.
