WRc are looking for a
Bid Coordinator to join them working within their busy Bids Team helping to co-ordinate and deliver a range of tender activities across the globe.
If you are eager to learn and develop new skills, within a small but busy team, then this role would suit you. The team is based in the
Swindon office and attendance in person is required for 2-3 days a week.
Supporting the growth of our consultancy, research and technical advisory services, you will be an independent thinker, able to organise your own time, and proactive to achieve goals and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Checking tender notices daily to ensure we find relevant opportunities for the company and ensure these are effectively communicated.
- Download required information/documents for bids/tenders and communicate these to the relevant technical team.
- Assist and set up relevant bid folders in C0004.
- Support in creating collaborative working space for the technical teams (such as MS Teams).
- Support the bid manager with the setting up of templates to ensure compliant bid structure response.
- Storing information for tenders in relevant central locations and ensuring information is up to date so all staff can access and utilise this information.
- Manage the corporate CV system, ensuring it is maintained and updated regularly for CVs and case studies.
- Support the Bid Managers with portal submissions
Person Specification:
- A keen eye for attention to detail and detail orientated.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Detailed knowledge of MS Office.
- Ability to be analytical and share ideas for improvement.
- Strong multitasking and organisational skills with the ability to manage deadlines are essential.
- Advanced communication skills, comfortable with technical language and a desire to understand the sectors in which WRc works.
Salary and Benefits:
- £27,000 dependent on experience
