We’re Hiring: Bid Manager – Infrastructure & Built Environment

London - Full Time - Hybrid Working

Are you a commercial and strategic thinker who thrives on turning technical capability into winning proposals? Plowman Craven is looking for an experienced Bid Manager to lead the end-to-end bid and tender process for geospatial survey and digital information services across the UK built environment and infrastructure markets.

What You’ll Do:

As Bid Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and winning work that drives the growth of our business.

You will:

Lead the full bid lifecycle, from opportunity evaluation to final submission and post-bid reviews.
Develop bid strategy and win themes that clearly articulate our technical strengths and market value.
Own bid governance, approvals, risk reviews and quality standards that ensure compliance and competitiveness.
Shape pricing strategy in collaboration with delivery, estimating and commercial teams.

Build trusted relationships with clients, consultants and internal stakeholders to inform compelling proposals.

Lead and develop a high-performing team of estimators and bid contributors.

Represent Plowman Craven at client meetings, industry events and external forums.

Who We’re Looking For

You’ll be a strong communicator and strategic thinker with:

✔ Experience leading bids in infrastructure, surveying, geospatial or digital construction markets.

✔ A proven track record of shaping and winning competitive tenders.

✔ Excellent commercial judgement, risk management and pricing insight.

✔ The confidence to engage clients, lead stakeholders and influence decision-making.

✔ Experience developing people and driving best practice in bid delivery.
