Enterprise Bids Architect

Public Sector & Defence | UK‑wide | Permanent

We’re looking for someone who thrives in fast‑paced bid environments and knows what it takes to win major public sector and defence programmes.

This role brings together digital, data, cloud, applications, and multi‑supplier ecosystems into a single, compelling solution.

You’ll work on major national programmes, influence solution strategy early, and help shape the technology vision behind high‑impact public services.

What you’ll do

Lead the architecture for large, strategic bids.
Design integrated, end‑to‑end technology solutions across multiple capabilities and suppliers.
Work closely with bid and business development teams to shape winning propositions.
Communicate technical strategy clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
Support mobilisation to ensure solutions transition smoothly into delivery.

What we’re looking for

Strong experience working on large, high‑value bids in the public sector and/or defence.

A background broader than infrastructure — e.g., cloud, digital services, applications, data, platforms, or integration.

Ability to define, present, and defend complex solutions with clarity and confidence.

Collaborative, adaptable, and comfortable under time pressure.
