Company Overview
You will be joining a very well-established, prestigious and highly regarded Consultancy business as their Billing Officer on a full-time, permanent basis. Reporting into the EMEA Billing Manager and part of a high-performing and close-knit Billing team, you will also be supported by a much larger wider finance team consisting of Accounts Payable, Credit Control, Management Accounts and more. You will be based in their super modern Central London office 1-2 days a week, with the opportunity to work from home for the remaining days.
Role Responsibilities
In your new role, you will primarily be responsible for Billing activities across several offices across the EMEA region. You will ensure that assignments are properly recorded in SAP in line with the business' internal procedures and controls (SOX compliant), invoice clients accurately and make sure that billing queries are addressed professionally and in a timely manner. You will review and validate the details of client contracts, confirm engagement in SAP, prepare and review documentation for internal Audit purposes, support with the month-end close process and provide training for new starters. You will be responsible for the whole client billing process for specific billing offices/lines of business and have a thorough understanding of the billings process/transactions including the improvement of these processes where possible.
Role Requirements
In order to be considered for this fantastic opportunity, you will need to have at least 2-3 years of relevant Billing experience and ideally have experience working in an Executive Search, Recruitment or Consultancy business. This role will be predominantly focused on Billing for the business' Interim Services line of business and so a candidate with experience in this area is highly desirable. You will need to be very organised and have a committed, enthusiastic and willing approach to all tasks. Ideally you will have previously used SAP or another similar Accounting software and you must be confident with the use of Excel to an intermediate level. You will have an outstanding work ethic, a proactive approach and a can-do attitude. You will be a dedicated and driven self-starter with a demonstrable passion for numbers. You will be a professional and articulate individual with excellent attention to detail and you will be a strong team player who is able to effectively multi-task in a deadline driven environment.

You will receive an annual salary of up to £37,000 + Benefits, and this package will be regularly reviewed to remain in line with market rate.
