BIM Coordinator - Balfour Beatty (@one Alliance)
Location: This is a hybrid role, offering the flexibility to work both remotely and from Peterborough office in Thorpe wood House.

As
BIM Coordinator, you’ll lead digital modelling across multiple projects, overseeing a team of BIM technicians. You'll ensure compliance with BIM procedures and collaborate with wider project teams to create, verify and manage intelligent 3D models. From supporting data extraction to model audits and technical guidance, you’ll shape design quality and innovation from the ground up.
What you'll be doing
Key Responsibilities
- Resolve model clashes and support design optimisation at coordination meetings
- Identify design risks and propose mitigation strategies
- Extract model data for PCI documentation
- Ensure structured and accessible design data
- Manage model cataloguing and streamline digital asset organisation
- Collaborate across disciplines to maintain modelling accuracy
- Provide technical support to design teams
- Foster an inclusive, respectful work culture
- Research and implement new BIM processes to boost efficiency
Who we're looking for
A little bit about your skills, experience and behaviours….
To Join Us On The Team, You’ll
- Engineering diploma, degree, or equivalent
- Strong experience in mechanical and civil disciplines
- Proficient in Plant3D, Civil3D, Revit, Navisworks, Recap
- Water-sector project experience preferred
- Experience in design & build environments a plus
