We have a 15 hours per week, Band 6 Specialist Nurse vacancy in the Bladder & Bowel Team based in Integrated Services at Clementhorpe Health Centre, York
Do you have previous Bladder & Bowel experience? If so, this is the job for you.
You will have Specialist Continence nursing skills and experience to clinically assess, plan and monitor interventions with patients in clinic settings or home visits.
- Interviews for this position will be held in person ONLY at one of our Trust sites. Remote interviews will not be available.
- The validity of Nursing and Midwifery Council PIN will be checked before shortlisting. Inaccuracies in NMC PIN details will mean your application will not be progressed.

We are looking for somebody who is a broad thinker, confident to drive change and implement evidence-based initiatives. We are actively looking at prevention and reduction of continence product use, including sustainability and impact on environment.
You will support the team leader and cover in their absence, hold good leadership qualities and able to make decisions.
Do you enjoy delivering training? We have a rolling programme of training and education for all Community, Inpatient Units and Care Homes. We work closely with Clinical educators in Community and acute. Confidence to deliver in this area essential.
We are constantly evolving team working with enthusiasm, drive and passion to implement change and make service improvements within the integrated community services in York & Selby area.
The ability to transport yourself and equipment across the locality during the course of a normal working day is required for this vacancy. Access to a vehicle that can be used for business purposes and hold a full and valid driving licence (role will involve travel to numerous addresses that cannot be easily accessed by public transport means) is required.
