About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Blockchain Developer with strong hands-on experience in R3 Corda, Python, Microservices, and Node.js. You will join a forward-thinking engineering team working on enterprise-grade blockchain applications, primarily for the financial and regulated industries. The ideal candidate should possess a passion for decentralized systems, secure coding practices, and scalable backend services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy blockchain-based solutions using R3 Corda for high-impact use cases.
- Build and maintain backend services using Python and Node.js, following microservices architecture.
- Develop and integrate smart contract logic and flows within the Corda framework.
- Collaborate with architects, DevOps, and product teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
- Design APIs, data models, and services ensuring high performance, scalability, and security.
- Conduct code reviews, write unit and integration tests, and follow CI/CD best practices.
- Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in blockchain and backend ecosystems.
- Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 3+ years of professional experience in blockchain development, with a strong focus on R3 Corda.
- Proficient in Python and Node.js for backend development.
- Strong knowledge of microservices architecture and RESTful API design.
- Experience with Corda Flows, States, Contracts, and integration patterns.
- Understanding of cryptographic principles, distributed systems, and secure coding practices.
- Familiarity with databases (SQL and NoSQL), containerization (Docker), and cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in financial services, supply chain, or regulated industries.
- Knowledge of other blockchain platforms (e.g., Hyperledger Fabric, Ethereum) is a plus.
- Exposure to Kubernetes and DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
- Contributions to open-source blockchain projects are an advantage.
