Tesla Bodyshop is seeking a highly driven professional with a proven track record of managing people and processes to work on one of the most progressive vehicle brands in the world. As the Bodyshop Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of site performance and the customer experience. This position requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of bodyshop processes and operations, as well as a firm grasp of the commercial drivers of the business. You must also be a first-rate problem solver who can work in a fast-paced environment, capable of multi-tasking, and effectively leading a team to achieve business goals and objectives

What You'll Do
Working closely with leadership, oversee all site operations to deliver excellent results in all aspects of customer, people, operations, and financialsUnderstand and own every aspect of the site performance; closely monitoring results/metrics and driving improvements wherever they are neededWe expect you to champion safety, efficiency, quality, and overall excellence in all your actions and decisions and ensure the condition of the site reflects the status of the brandManage overall site resourcing levels and work schedules for both Estimators and Workshop teamsSet and achieve stretch goals and objectives for the site, forecasting future performance and setting up business plans to support business strategyCreate a culture of ownership and accountability, always maintaining the integrity of the Tesla brand, its processes, procedures, and values Provide regular coaching and feedback to direct reports and possess a thorough understanding of their strengths and development needs; coordinating with Training to close skill and knowledge gapsOversee scheduling, production, invoicing and parts ordering, location compliancy and resolve any customer complaints ensuring satisfactionPerform other related duties assigned by managerWork closely with Bodyshop support teams on initiatives spanning continuous improvement, best practise standards, policies, guidance, system development and change management
What You'll Bring
5-8 years of experience in management within the Bodyshop industry, ideally in a commercial setting dealing with retail, insurance and fleet customers Experience leading large teams and managing a diverse group of roles in both Estimators and Workshop settingsExcellent communication skills with the ability to inspire a team to achieve stretch targetsStrong understanding of bodyshop commercials and a track record in delivering profitabilitySolid comprehension of and ability to produce automotive repair procedures, estimates and invoices Knowledge of vehicle repair methods, repair techniques, parts, tools, and materials used in vehicle body repairManage and grow stakeholder relationships to ensure consistent work volumesProven expertise is scheduling logic, workshop management and financials to attain expected targetsExperienced in using Microsoft Office as a communication, presentation and data management toolDesire to progress within the Bodyshop industry
