We have a fantastic opening for a
Box Office Assistant to join our team in
Ticketing.
You will be working across two of the UKs top 10 arenas which hold over 200 events and welcome 1.5 million fans every year. Based in Birmingham City Centre and on the NEC Campus in Solihull, you will be part of a team that welcomes people to a wide variety of events - from concerts and comedy to sporting and family events. No two days are ever the same!
About The Role
This role will assist in the smooth running of the box office with a focus on event duty providing a pro-active, customer and business focused approach, whilst always promoting the highest standards of customer service.
Day To Day You Will
- Assist the ticketing team with the movement of ticketing inventory and reconciling manifest changes during the lifecycle of events, including seat sold plans and breakdowns.
- Plan and execute event day box offices in our arena venues, in conjunction with all teams.
- Assist the Duty Manager at event day box offices, being a point of contact for the Venue, Promoters Representatives and Customer Services staff. On occasions, you will also act as the Duty Manager.
- Provide a set of final sales reports and manifests and create reports on how the event ran.
About You
Our Ideal Candidate will:
- Experience of working on a ticketing system, preferably working knowledge of Audience View & AXS
- Experience in a ticketing environment or other live entertainment role
- Excellent written, telephone and interpersonal skills
