JOB PURPOSE


The Brand Activation Controller will lead the strategic direction and execution of the St Pierre and Baker Street brands, championing their growth and visibility in the UK market. They will oversee UK brand planning, campaign development, budget management, and cross-functional collaboration, ensuring all initiatives are data-driven, consumer-focused, and aligned with commercial goals. Acting as the voice of the consumer, they will execute UK innovation, manage key stakeholder relationships, and mentor the brand team to deliver impactful, insight-led marketing that drives brand awareness, elevates brand positioning and delivers measurable results.


This is a Fixed Term Contract covering a period of maternity leave (approx. 6 - 8 months starting Dec 2025).


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Champion the St Pierre and Baker Street brands in the UK – lead the local strategy and direction, local P&L and annual UK brand plans.
  • Work closely with Global Head of Comms and team on the creation, development and execution of campaigns.
  • Assist with media strategy, reporting and campaign deployment to land the ATL campaign in the UK market.
  • Manage brand budget -responsible for budget planning, delivery and execution to support brand growth goals & ROI
  • Brand project management - internal & external stakeholders, agencies & suppliers and reporting.
  • Develop & communicate branded assets, merchandise & UK packaging
  • Manage key suppliers/stakeholders across brand, design, digital/social, PR and activation to deliver campaigns within budget.
  • Lead execution of UK NPD launches, collaborating with NPD, Global Brand, Category, & Sales
  • Work closely with UK Commercial team to support distribution opportunities attending retailer meetings and brand days where required – always providing a premium experience for trade partners.
  • Lead the Shopper Marketing agenda within the UK Brand team
  • Develop and mentor the UK Brand team
  • Be the voice of the consumer – aligning and merging category and consumer insights


PERSON SPECIFICATION

  • Proven experience in brand management, ideally within FMCG or consumer goods
  • Excellent communication skills, with demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects with internal teams and manage external agencies and suppliers
  • Experience in shopper marketing planning, in-store execution and evaluation
  • Understanding of the end-to-end NPD cycle and collaboration with commercial and category teams to optimize execution of launches
  • Consumer-focused and passionate about building and championing brands
  • Energetic and enthusiastic, with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and delivery
