The Brand Design Executive will be joining a dynamic marketing team and will be responsible for the company brand. This includes brand consistency, building an asset portfolio and ensuring LINX references follow guidelines.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a brand specific role, and skills in graphic design are desirable. We are looking for a creative and strategic thinker who can build, maintain and communicate a strong and recognisable identity, visually and through messaging.
· The post holder will be based in either the LINX Peterborough or London office but travel to the other office will be required regularly.
· LINX maintains a flexible and hybrid working policy. Attendance in person for key events is expected.
· Create and maintain brand guidelines. Educate colleagues on the brand guidelines, prove hands-on support for brand implementation, and review and approve brand-related content and materials.
· Lead on brand consistency, ensuring all internal and external visual marketing follows the guidelines set. Pick up and act on misuse of the brand both internally and externally.
· Run an annual brand competitor analysis to understand the changing market dynamics. Identify opportunities for differentiation to improve business strategies and gain competitive edge.
· Align with colleagues in the marketing team on company messaging and ensure use of this is consistent and relevant to each audience.
· Be the first point of contact for any graphic design work
· Create and maintain a brand portfolio of templates and branded assets in Canva, Word, PowerPoint etc
· Collaborate with the team to manage new artwork briefs from banner designs to social media graphics
· Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Specialist for brand consistency across the company website, video content and other digital Marketing activity.
· Support Marketing team as needed, which will require flexibility in role and responsibilities.
· Attend industry events representing LINX as needed. This may require both national and international travel.
· Treat all LINX members fairly and equally.
· Any other activities as required by LINX.
· A strong understanding of and experience in marketing, visual communication and brand management
· Experience in developing brand identities, monitoring them, and understanding of the importance of brand consistency
· A passion for creativity and innovation
· Ability to collaborate and communicate confidently, with internal and external stakeholders
· Desirable; proficiency in design software or previous graphic design skills
· Desirable; experience of working in the telecommunications, cloud or wider technology sector
