Through our Total Platform we provide these same cutting edge services for our Brand Partners such Victoria’s Secret, REISS, GAP,Laura Ashley, Joules and Fat Face.
Working within the Next Total Platform, the role will be full of variety and challenges. Like fashion trends, it’s fast paced and is constantly evolving. We now look after over 8 million customers, and it takes a large, talented and efficient distribution operation to make that happen. Our distribution centres support our 500+ retail stores, our worldwide online offer and our growing partnerships with over 700 brands and third party outlets using Next’s Total Platform.
Our continued growth and success is dependent on the expertise, passion and adaptability of our teams and we are looking for talented, dynamic and creative people to join us on the next step of this exciting journey.
Lets Take It On.
The Brand Partnership Manager will own the relationship between NEXT and the brand partners key business executives and senior stakeholders within Reiss and Fat Face. You will be preparing cost and service management and reporting, to ensure we meet contractual service level agreements. The role will also answer partner queries and identify new business opportunities to improve the entire customer experience.
Working closely with the Brands, and with the team of Partnership Coordinators, you will constantly look for improvements to NEXT’s delivery efficiencies and customer experience while considering the impact of these on the cost base. By analysing information and engaging with stakeholders, you will be confident in providing detailed insight to senior managers and Directors on the commercial impact and customer benefits of any changes to process.
By building effective working relationships with the partner and with the Warehouse operations teams, you will ensure that the correct volumes are picked, packed, shipped and delivered. You will be responsible for conducting regular planning meetings with the warehouse Operations teams and your brand partners on expected volumes (including sale), volume variances and any process or systems changes. Using your knowledge and expertise, you will anticipate any potential problems that could impact Next’s delivery promises to our customers and recommend appropriate solutions.
About You
To succeed in the role of Brand Partnership Manager, you will be a team player, possessing excellent communication skills when dealing with colleagues at all levels within both NEXT and the Partners’ organisation. You will be self-motivated, organised and be able to prioritise in changing and pressurised situations, with demonstrable problem-solving skills.
Previous experience in an account management or similar coordination role is essential including P&L management, cost control and service level management, along with reporting with action plans to provide continuous improvements. You’ll have proven ability of working with and influencing a wide audience and senior stakeholders, demonstrating experience of delivering solutions and business objectives. Knowledge of warehousing & distribution processes and operations would be a distinct advantage.
Ideally you'll have experience of working with data in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets to Advanced Level for example Vlookups, pivot tables and IF statements (including knowledge of SQL and Databricks)
