Role Description

This is a part-time, on-site role based in the United Kingdom for a Brickwork Tutor. The role involves delivering engaging and effective lessons in brickwork, preparing lesson plans, assessing student progress, and providing constructive feedback. The Brickwork Tutor will also ensure compliance with relevant educational standards and encourage students to achieve their full potential in the subject. Collaboration with colleagues to improve course content and address student needs will be a key part of the role.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge and practical expertise in brickwork, including experience in construction-related practices
• Effective teaching and communication skills, with an ability to adapt teaching methods to different learning styles
• Experience in assessing, giving feedback, and supporting learners’ progress
• Relevant teaching qualification, such as a PGCE, or willingness to work towards achieving one
• Industry experience and a recognized qualification in brickwork or construction
• Commitment to health and safety standards in an educational setting
• Attention to detail, organization, and strong interpersonal skills
• A passion for education and motivating learners to succeed
