We’re now seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our London team and lead mechanical design projects across multiple sectors. This is an opportunity to drive change, mentor engineers, and deliver exceptional client outcomes while contributing to a collaborative, forward-thinking culture.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and manage the full mechanical design lifecycle on projects of all sizes.
• Ensure quality control across Mechanical Engineering deliverables.
• Oversee project cost control and commercial performance.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, ensuring best-in-class engineering practices.
• Liaise with cross-functional teams across our offices in the UK, Ireland, and Turkey.
• Represent EDC at client meetings, site visits, and industry events.

What We’re Looking For

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Chartership desirable).
• 6+ years’ experience in Building Services Consultancy design.
• Expertise in HVAC, water services, heating/LTHW, fuel, above-ground drainage, and BMS.
• Strong BIM experience and commercial sector knowledge (energy modelling is a plus).
• Proven ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results.
• Excellent decision-making, communication, and leadership skills.
