Job Purpose
Building Maintenance and Compliance (BMAC) scope, manage and deliver building refurbishment, building fabric repairs and associated works on UU Operational Buildings.
Works are delivered through a mix of framework and direct award subcontractors with works varying in scope and scale to suit each individual site requirement. BMAC work across the company's five county hubs with surveyors allocated to a respective hub, assisting other hubs as required to ensure delivery of works.
Building compliance remediation across Asbestos, Fire Safety and Water Hygiene (legionella) will also form part of the role.
Working as part of the Building Maintenance and Compliance (BMAC) team providing a critical service across the business in repairing, maintaining and refurbishing our built assets - undertaking building condition surveys and scoping documentation. Works are then delivered via framework / subcontractor management to ensure our built assets are kept to the required expected standard across the UU estate.
Building maintenance and refurbishment projects are delivered within one of the 5 county hubs and support the overall delivery of the Building Maintenance and Compliance work programme.
To manage and deliver a range of building works throughout United Utilities including undertaking condition surveys and data gathering (scope and outline costs) to prioritise works.
Management of Framework FM Projects team and individual Subcontractors to successfully coordinate and complete outlined site works.
