Purpose of the Role

To manage and grow strategic customer relationships, delivering commercial plans that drive mutual value. You’ll be responsible for executing joint business plans, optimising promotional strategies, and ensuring pladis remains the category partner of choice.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Relationship Management:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail partners, becoming their go-to contact for category and commercial insights.
• Commercial Planning & Execution:
• Lead the development and delivery of customer-specific business plans including promotional calendars, range reviews, and NPD launches.
• Forecasting & Budgeting:
• Own volume forecasting and promotional spend tracking, ensuring alignment with internal finance and supply chain teams.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Work closely with Category, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain to deliver seamless execution and unlock growth opportunities.
• Data & Insight Application:
• Use market data and shopper insights to inform decisions and influence customer strategies.

Key Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in FMCG account management or commercial roles.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Commercial acumen with understanding of P&L and trade investment.
• Ability to build collaborative relationships internally and externally.
