Are you an expert in London Market Wholesale Broking, with a passion for driving change and delivering cutting-edge solutions? DXC Technology is seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Senior Business Analyst to join our team and play a key role in shaping the future of insurance technology.

About the Role:

In this exciting and impactful position, you will be responsible for producing high-quality functional specifications for software changes within our London Market Wholesale Broking products. As the Senior Business Analyst, you will ensure consistency and cohesion in the final solution by considering existing functionality, collaborating with both customers and internal teams, and guiding software development throughout its lifecycle.

This home-based role offers the flexibility to work with global customers and user groups, occasionally requiring travel to client sites. You will also contribute to DXC’s next-generation Assure for Broking system, helping to ensure it meets the evolving needs of London market brokers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce detailed functional specifications for software changes, ensuring solutions align with business needs and enhance existing functionality.
• Collaborate with development and testing teams throughout the software development life cycle to deliver seamless solutions.
• Work closely with the implementation and data migration teams to support product configuration and training during customer rollouts.
• Provide expert input on London Market Wholesale Broking processes and help define new modules and features for next-generation systems.
• Facilitate meetings with clients to capture requirements and translate them into actionable plans.

Key Requirements:

• Deep domain expertise in London Market Wholesale processes, including Policy, Claims, and Technical Accounting.
• Familiarity with messaging flows to/from broking systems in the London market and awareness of Lloyd’s Future of Lloyd’s / Blueprint II initiatives.
• Practical knowledge of insurance broking systems and a proven track record of working within or alongside General Insurance software vendors or brokers/underwriters.
• Ability to manage client expectations and steer the process of specification and review to meet tight deadlines.
• Strong presentation and communication skills, with a talent for simplifying complex technical concepts for a broad audience.
• Self-motivated, energetic, and adaptable to changing priorities, including the willingness to travel at short notice.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with DXC’s Broking products (Brokasure Enterprise, Brokasure Desktop, or Global XB).
• Knowledge of insurance/reinsurance software implementations and an understanding of their strengths and weaknesses.
• Insurance Industry qualifications (e.g., A.C.I.I.) would be a plus.
• Attention to detail, strong documentation skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
