We're supporting a Manufacturing Business based in South East London with their ERP implementation. We are seeking a systems-minded, data-savvy, and problem-solving Business Analyst to join their Transformation Programme team. This role is instrumental in bridging the gap between operational and functional teams, leveraging technology, to design future-ready processes that would help maximise the value of the ERP platform, particularly focusing on the procurement, commercial and operations functional areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Process & Requirements Discovery
- Lead workshops and interviews with stakeholders across departments (Commercial, Operations, Procurement, Finance, Warehouse, and Customer Service) to gather business requirements and pain points.
- Rapidly document as-is processes with a keen focus on cross-departmental touchpoints, bottlenecks, and manual inefficiencies.
- Facilitate open, thoughtful dialogue to encourage teams to reflect on what they really need, not just what they currently do.
- Ask the right open-ended questions to uncover unspoken needs, data gaps, and future opportunities
- Identify off-system side processes and toolsets
- Define and document business rules, data inputs/outputs, and required system integrations.
- Designing the Future State
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to design end-to-end ‘to-be’ process maps, ensuring alignment with ERP system capabilities and business goals.
- Recommend improvements using technology such as automated workflows and alerts, self-service reporting tools, smart notifications and exception management
The successful candidate must be able to get to site in South-East London 2-3 days/week.
