Description

We are seeking a Lead Business Analyst to support strategic deployment projects within the healthcare and life sciences sector, with a specific focus on LIMS (Laboratory Information Management Systems) and ELN (Electronic Lab Notebooks). This role plays a key part in requirement analysis, gap assessments, and data migration for laboratory systems.

You will work closely with laboratory personnel, IT teams, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and compliant transfer of critical lab data, as well as smooth system implementation and customization.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze and review current business processes and systems.
Perform gap analysis and define future-state process workflows and data models.
Work with stakeholders to gather and analyze business and functional requirements.
Define and execute data migration strategies including data mapping, cleansing, and validation.
Support and maintain LIMS implementation (e.g., StarLIMS, LabWare, or LabVantage).
Align with IT teams for LIMS customization and development requirements.
Provide CSV (Computer System Validation) support to the testing/QA team.
Conduct and lead training sessions for business SMEs and laboratory users.
Create and deliver comprehensive documentation and reports for stakeholders.
Provide on-site support for scientific user groups during project rollouts and go-lives.

Required Experience & Skills

Proven experience as a Business Analyst in healthcare, life sciences, or laboratory environments.
Hands-on experience with LIMS / ELN systems.
Preferred: StarLIMS
Others: LabVantage, LabWare
Strong understanding of laboratory data processes, workflows, and compliance standards.
Experience in data migration, including mapping, cleansing, and validation.
Exposure to or experience with Computer System Validation (CSV).
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to translate technical requirements into business language and vice versa.

Preferred Qualifications

Degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Information Systems, or related field.
Certifications in Business Analysis or LIMS-related platforms.
Previous experience working in a regulated (GxP) environment.
