Role Summary

Working closely with business, the role will be responsible for understanding and prioritising requirements to support the transformation / automation of business processes including through AI. This will include working with the Development team and business stakeholders to create requirements for system changes (Salesforce) and for for new tools (including AI autonomous agents & AI human agent guidance tools) and to configure, test and deploy AI functionality.


Managing the delivery of new features and changes through robust management of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), liaising with end users, software vendors and development resources to achieve these outcomes. Directing the development team to ensure successful delivery of system functionality to timescale and specification.



Key Duties & Responsibilities

The role will include, but is not limited to:


Act as ‘product owners’ for our systems, ensuring we get the most of out of our technology.

  • Have detailed knowledge of our technology platforms and their capabilities – ensuring that all new functionality built, takes full advantage of automation where possible.


Analyse, document and work with business areas to develop improvements to system processes.

  • Clearly demonstrate to business areas where automation can improve processes and make them more efficient whilst improving the customer journey.
  • Configure AI agents for use – including testing and deployment
  • Map out current ‘As is’ and new ‘to be’ processes - clearly demonstrating improvement metrics such as time saved through automation & reduction in client drop-off rates.
  • Produce robust system test plans to ensure all new system functionality is thoroughly tested and guides & supports users through user acceptance testing.
  • Produce high quality system training guides and delivers training to teams adopting new ways of working – increasing ‘buy-in’.


Act as the ‘bridge’ between business areas and technology.

  • Work with business areas to clearly understand their requirements and then translates those requirements into technical requirements / terminology (including the use of user stories), that development teams (both internal and external) need to build quality technology solutions & improvements.
  • Facilitates demos of new functionality by development teams to business areas ensuring clear understanding on all sides of what is being built.
  • Work with 3rd party technical teams to ensure API integrations between 3rd party systems and our internal systems are configured, ensuring that data is mapped correctly.


Promote an ‘Agile’ approach across the business.

  • Make sure technology solutions are built iteratively (so functionality is built, released and used in stages over time), allowing the business to benefit from technology quickly, instead of waiting longer for everything to be built ‘at the same time’.



Skills and Experience

  • Proven working experience in a Junior BA Role (essential)
  • Knowledge of process improvement (Lean / Six Sigma) (desirable)
  • Experience in working with Salesforce platforms (Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud) (essential)
  • Experience of working with AI tools, preferably Salesforce Agent force / Einstein
  • Degree, or work experience, in business administration or related fields such as computer science, business information systems or information technology.
  • Strong technical background with a thorough understanding of requirements management tools, e.g. Confluence, Jira, Clickup, and processes
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint, SharePoint, O365 and JIRA
  • Outstanding analytical, innovation, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to build effective, trusted relationships at all levels within the organisation and with external stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex scenarios to non-technical people
  • Highly self-motivated with the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced dynamic environment with consistently high levels of performance.
  • Ability to travel to all our offices when required
