Are you an experienced Business Analyst looking to rise to a new challenge?
Pepper Advantage is one of the leading loan servicing companies in the UK, and we are currently recruiting for an experienced Business Analyst to join our dynamic team in Uxbridge, London.
You will work directly with client and business stakeholders to develop process and requirement documentation arising from our client base and internally from the business. Liaising closely with the development and testing teams to ensure expectations are managed and requirements are met. Building a solid and robust knowledge of the existing process and system architecture in order to provide accurate and relevant feedback and queries to clients and business stakeholders. Provide leadership, coordination and project management on all change requests.
Your responsibilities will include:
Process Documentation and Maintenance
- Developing, reviewing, and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs), policies, manuals, and client communication templates (e.g., letters).
- Ensuring documents are aligned with regulatory, legal, and compliance requirements.
- Leading or supporting annual updates and audits of all operational documentation together with oversight of control testing.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Working closely with operations, compliance, legal, customer service, and IT teams to gather information and validate documentation.
- Serving as the bridge between operations and technical/development teams during system change implementations.
Business Analysis for System Changes
- Gathering and documenting business requirements for operational system enhancements or client-specific changes.
- Translating business needs into functional specifications for IT or vendor teams.
- Participating in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test planning, writing test cases, coordinating testers, defect tracking, and validating fixes.
Change Management Support
- Supporting rollout of new procedures or system changes, including training documentation or communication materials for operational staff.
- Tracking and monitoring change requests and ensure proper impact analysis is done from an operational standpoint.
This is a hybrid role and there will be an expectation (following an initial training period) of three days per week office attendance.
Essential Skills
- Strong ability to write clear, concise, and structured documentation (policies, SOPs, manuals, training guides).
- Skilled in using tools like Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, along with Viso and process mapping tools.
- Familiarity with document version control and approval workflows.
- Strong analytical mindset to identify gaps or inefficiencies in policies/procedures.
- Experience creating and analysing process maps, flowcharts, or business models (e.g., using Visio).
- Proficient in developing test plans, test scripts, and performing UAT.
- Familiarity with bug tracking systems (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps).
- Experience validating system changes against business requirements and producing test outcome reports.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially when translating technical changes into user-friendly documents.
- Awareness of the changes and development in regulation and legislation and the impact these have on the business.
- Ability to ensure all documentation meets regulatory and compliance standards.
