Overview

At Gallagher, we're seeking a number of Business Analyst’s to help drive forward the delivery of our current Mergers & Acquisitions(M&A) integration projects working closely with the impacted business areas as well as individuals in our Retail Insurance Division and Enterprise Solution (Central Service) functions.

We’re looking for an ambitious expers with a background in integrations, system migration, process mapping, and most of all outstanding stakeholder management skills.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-paced team, supporting key priorities around operational excellence, people and revenue growth. You will be given the breadth autonomy to take responsibility for delivery, will be challenged by the scale of the projects and have the opportunity to build an effective network to help with delivery.

How You'll Make An Impact

  • Recognise and understand the business problem and primary objectives of new projects, challenging objectives and scope where necessary.
  • Support operational improvements including removing waste and consistent ways of working.
  • Build great relationships with key partners and working with them, use a variety of techniques and methodologies to elicit and endorse requirements.
  • Create functional requirements, coordinate walk-through and sign-offs, ensure the models accurately match business needs.
  • Document needs in a manner that supports the efficient translation of these into solution requirements.
  • Plan, design and deliver the handover of business processes to the functional owner in a way that allows for continuous improvement.
  • Design and support the management of User Acceptance Testing, providing input into resolution of any fixes.
  • Support project rollout and handover.
  • You need to be a self-starter, who is well organised and able to work independently on complex tasks and deliver high quality results.
  • You will act as a champion for change, whilst working in a fast-paced change environment.

About You

  • Previous experience as a Business Analyst, must have a excellent background in business processes and systems migrations.
  • Formal Business Analysis qualification or membership of relevant professional body is desirable.
  • A proficient knowledge of MS Office software including Visio.
  • Experience of using project tools such Jira and Dev Ops.
  • Experience in creating As-Is and To-Be business process maps and wireframes.
  • Requirements elicitation, fit/gap analysis and preparation of functional design documents.
  • Experience of finding opportunities for process and system improvements.
  • Confidently manage and sustain key relationship networks within a project environment.
  • An ability to extract and piece together required learning from a broad range of different opportunities and sources.
  • High attention to detail and comfortable handling large datasets.
  • Experience of working in matrix teams across multiple offices, including third party suppliers.
  • Both commercial and customer minded - able to perform analysis that delivers customer and outcome-focussed solutions.
  • Deadline driven, setting priorities in order to achieve time-bound outcomes. Lead and motivate others through good people management skills, a creative problem-solver with an ambitious, can-do attitude.
  • Eligible to work in the UK with client site travel required
