About The Role

The Agile Business Analyst - Consultant role at Capgemini Invent is a vital position within our Digital Excellence community, based in London. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile transformation projects across various sectors, including public and private industries. As an integral part of multidisciplinary Agile Scrum teams, you will focus on delivering user-centered digital products and services that generate real business value. Your responsibilities will include understanding client needs, translating these into actionable user stories, and supporting the end-to-end delivery process from research and design to development and testing. The role requires a blend of analytical thinking, stakeholder management, and technical understanding, particularly in areas such as APIs, microservices, and cloud infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to facilitate Agile ceremonies, support delivery, and ensure that solutions meet both user and business requirements. Qualifications

• Experience in user-centered product or service development projects
• Proficiency in working within multidisciplinary Agile Scrum teams
• Knowledge of Government Digital Service (GDS) service standards
• Ability to translate user needs and business requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria
• Experience in requirements capturing tools such as JIRA
• Technical business analysis skills with familiarity of architectural concepts like microservices, APIs, and cloud infrastructure
• Strong stakeholder management and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to support and lead Agile ceremonies and team activities
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Relevant certifications in Business Analysis, Agile Delivery, or User-Centered Design (preferred)
• Experience working across different sectors such as Public Sector, Utilities, Financial Services, or Retail (desirable)
• Experience supporting internal team operations, including recruitment, mentoring, and training (desirable)

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in exploring and applying new digital technologies and platforms to enhance their business operations
• Design, advise, and deliver innovative products and services that provide tangible value to clients
• Lead end-to-end user-centered design projects, collaborating across design, product, development, and testing teams
• Work within Agile Scrum teams to understand user needs, translate requirements into user stories, and define acceptance criteria
• Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, ensuring clear communication and alignment of project goals
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to support team delivery
• Support technical analysis, including understanding architectural concepts and integrating technical requirements into project deliverables
• Contribute to continuous improvement of Agile practices and project methodologies within the team
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members and support internal operational activities
