Job Summary:


Business Analyst – Cargo Systems will play a key role in supporting the implementation and optimisation of Swissport’s Digital Toolkit (IT systems), with an emphasis on user acceptance testing, training coordination and rollout activities.

This role bridges Global operations and Global IT with our stations, ensuring a smooth adoption of new systems and processes across Swissport’s global cargo operations.

The Business Analyst will collaborate closely with stations, IT teams, training departments, project stakeholders and software providers to ensure that the system meets operational needs and drive continuous improvement.


Job Responsibilities:


System Testing & Quality Assurance


  • Participate in system testing cycles including functional, integration and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Develop and maintain test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts based on business requirements and use cases.
  • Execute system tests, document results, identify defects and work with developers to ensure timely resolution.
  • Support defect triage and retesting to confirm issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with IT and product teams to validate alignment between system design and business needs.


Training & Rollout Support


  • Assist in the preparation and delivery of system training materials, user guides and reference documentation.
  • Coordinate and support training sessions, workshops and knowledge transfers with local station teams.
  • Provide onsite or remote support during system rollouts, ensuring end user readiness and issue resolution.


Stakeholder Engagement


  • Act as a liaison between Swissport and software suppliers, ensuring business priorities are understood and addressed.
  • Support change management initiatives to ensure successful system adoption.



Qualifications and Competencies:


  • Higher education: a relevant university degree is an advantage.
  • Experience in project management.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in business analysis, system implementation or project support ideally in air cargo or logistics.
  • Knowledge of Cargospot, air cargo business and operational processes is considered as a big advantage
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across departments and regions.
  • Fluent in English, proficiency in other languages is a plus.
  • Ability to adapt to various cultural and business environments and manage changing scopes and priorities.
  • Willingness to travel worldwide (up to 20%).
