Description

The Business Development Co-ordinator will contribute towards the company sales and growth strategy through the identification and management of maintenance opportunities.

We have circa 1000 customer sites and a developing catalogue of services. As a Sales Co-ordinator the role holder will offer existing customers a wider breath of services as well as identifying and target new customers.

Lead generation will be primarily self-generated with opportunities and bookings also coming from sales campaigns and other internal stakeholders

All new customer equipment is surveyed and documented in line with set processes, as such the role holder will be expected to travel throughout the UK (Majority of travel within North West) to manage site visits and gather information. This will be utilised for pricing, safety and internal key stakeholders review.


Principal responsibilities of the role


The position will involve the self-management of diaries and time, ensuring a healthy sales pipeline is maintained, customers are kept up to date with our current proposals and products, whilst keeping stakeholders briefed and engaged.

The role holder will also hold account management responsibility for a section of customers, ensuring high value clients are engaged with regularly, this will make certain that all opportunities with these accounts are highlighted and managed.

  • To network with prospective and current clients, to achieve a sales and growth target.
  • To efficiently manage own diary and appointments.
  • Account management.
  • To manage a pipeline of sales from initial prospect to delivery, often maintaining engagement internally and externally throughout project delivery.
  • COMA Contract growth with new and existing clients
  • B2B sales.
  • Lead generation for construction projects.


Who we are looking for


  • Ability to create and deliver sales proposals to customers, ranging from engineers to board level.
  • Excellent networking ability, able to quickly build valuable relationships internally and externally.
  • Be able to highlight and map potential markets / customers to effectively target sales.
  • Proficient with the Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • Knowledge of High and low voltage equipment / network configuration would be advantageous.
  • The ability to explore a customer’s objective and timeframes and translate this to a workable solution.
  • B2B sales experience, with experience trading with the public sector being advantageous.
  • Strong account management capability.
  • The ability to identify wide and narrow sales opportunities that build a longer terms account plan approach.
