Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Executive to join our dynamic and fast-growing sales team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to launch a career in sales. The Sales Executive will gain hands-on experience in identifying leads, initiating contact, building relationships, and ultimately contributing to the company's revenue growth through proactive outbound efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation and Qualification:
- Conduct thorough research to identify potential leads and target audiences using various resources (e.g., online databases, social media, industry publications).
- Qualify leads based on predefined criteria to ensure alignment with our products/services.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of leads and activities in the CRM system.
Outbound Sales Activities:
- Proactively reach out to potential customers through various outbound channels, including cold calling, email marketing, and social selling.
- Develop and deliver compelling sales pitches and presentations tailored to the specific needs of prospects.
- Schedule and conduct introductory meetings.
Relationship Building and Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective customers through consistent and professional communication.
- Understand customer needs and challenges to effectively position our solutions.
- Follow up with leads in a timely and effective manner to nurture them through the sales pipeline.
Learning and Development:
- Actively participate in sales training programs and workshops to enhance product knowledge, sales techniques, and industry understanding.
- Work closely with experienced sales team members to learn best practices and strategies.
- Seek feedback and continuously strive for improvement in sales performance.
Sales Reporting and Analysis:
- Track and report on outbound sales activities and progress against targets.
- Provide insights and feedback on the effectiveness of different outbound strategies.
- Contribute to the development of more effective outbound sales approaches.
Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively with other members of the sales, marketing, production and Data teams to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach.
- Share insights and best practices with colleagues.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Strong interest in sales and outbound marketing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new information and processes.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., G-Suite).
- Experience with CRM software is a plus.
- Resilience and the ability to handle rejection.
