THE ROLE
We are seeking a driven and commercially-minded Business Development Executive to help expand our presence in the events sector.
NOQ already supports 100+ major festivals across the UK and US. We are now scaling aggressively, and this role will be pivotal in driving new business with event organisers—replacing legacy systems and enabling smoother, more profitable operations through NOQ’s platform.
This is a client-facing role where you will build relationships, create opportunities, and directly shape NOQ’s growth within the events space.
YOU
- You have knowledge of POS systems and understand how they fit into complex event environments.
- You know the event landscape—how festivals and large-scale events run, their key stakeholders, and the challenges they face commercially and operationally.
- You love events, hospitality, and people—this passion is key to building credibility and strong relationships in the industry.
- You have hospitality knowledge and can speak credibly with hospitality leads, and operational teams about their pain points, and show how NOQ solves them.
- A strong network in the events industry is highly valuable—but the most important quality is your ability to engage decision-makers and build trust quickly.
- You are structured, proactive, and comfortable managing your own workflow, pipeline, and CRM with minimal oversight.
- You value relationships and problem-solving over hard selling, and take a consultative approach—aligning NOQ to client needs and ambitions.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Key goal & territories: UK , US, AUS, NZ Market Expansion
- Identifying and connecting with key decision-makers in the festival and events sector
- Driving outbound activity (calls, emails, networking, industry events) to build a qualified sales pipeline
- Building strong relationships with commercial and operations teams at event organisers
- Working closely with the AE team to define and execute the sector growth strategy
- Feeding back market insight to shape sales approach and product development
- Above all: creating interest—finding potential clients with operational challenges and showing how NOQ delivers solutions

- Circa £45k base salary + comission or share options
