What You'll Be Doing

Have you ever wanted to be right at the center of the action? At the very heart of something new and exciting? As the leading provider of fuel & EV charging solutions to UK businesses, we are looking for a Business Development Manager to expand the team and support our rapid ascent in the marketplace.

This is an exciting time to join our corporate sales team as we are investing significantly to ensure we are ready to continue our ongoing success and growth. This role is focused on supporting UK business specifically.

You will work primarily with new customers operating medium to large fleets, providing solutions that meet their immediate fuel requirements while supporting their transition to EV by providing them with our EV charging solutions that simplify how fleets charge at home & on the road.

This is a hybrid role working both remotely, across our UK offices, in addition to facilitating customer visits & attending trade shows and industry events.

About You

You are most likely working within the Fleet or EV industry already, ideally in sales.

Due to the nature of the role, experience in selling SaaS solutions would also be advantageous as would experience in a fleet, telematics or fuel role given the customers you will be speaking with and the solutions you will be selling.

Responsibilities for the BDM Fuel and EV Fleet

  • Selling our fleet, fuel & EV solutions into new customers.
  • Work closely with our sales & account management teams.
  • Developing a robust pipeline of prospective mixed fleet, fuel & EV customers who are on a journey to electrify their fleet.
  • Remain close to the market, as well as customer needs, to feed back into product teams. You will play an integral part of shaping our product roadmap, allowing us to keep pace with a fast-evolving market and industry.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience in a face-to-face sales / account management environment.
  • Experience in Fleet, Fuel & EV, including knowledge of both the UK public charging infrastructure & home charging landscape, costs and benefits of introducing EVs into a fleet and general EV knowledge.
  • Experience in sales (New or X-sell)
  • Experience working in a B2B company
  • Strong ability to form and maintain relationships
  • An ability to respond to complicated briefs from customers or business leaders, make decisions and communicate an appropriate strategy/solution
