Business Development Manager

A client of Henderson Scott is looking for two experienced Business Development Managers to join our growing commercial team—one based in Aberdeen and one in Dundee—to drive sales of modular accommodation, site welfare units, and power generation solutions to contractors and construction projects across the region.

Responsibilities

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with construction contractors and project managers
• Developing new business opportunities and managing a portfolio of key accounts
• Selling modular building solutions, welfare accommodation, and power generators
• Visiting client sites, understanding project needs, and proposing tailored hire solutions
• Collaborating with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and excellent customer service

Qualifications

• +2 years experience in tool hire, plant hire, temporary accommodation, or generator hire
• Strong knowledge of the construction industry and contractor networks in Scotland
• A driven, solutions-focused salesperson with excellent communication skills
• Based in or near Aberdeen or Dundee – or willing to travel regularly to those areas
• Self-starter who can manage their own pipeline and hit commercial targets
