Business Development Manager | full time | permanent | Hybrid/London | salary & commission up to £60k OTE | uncapped commission, EMI share options, additional bonus + benefits


Are you an ambitious, motivated, self-starter looking for a sales role to really make your own? Look no further, at Hire Space you will be working with our Business Development team to market our Hire Space 360 platform to potential new corporate clients. Hire Space is on a mission to become the most widely used, best loved venue booking platform in the world. We pride ourselves on helping companies discover and book unique venues for their events. We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Business Development Manager to join our vibrant team and help us achieve our vision.


The role

As a Business Development Manager, you will play an integral role in the development of high value, repeat business accounts through our Hire Space Professional platform. Your main responsibility is to secure and manage promising new business, ensuring a consistent inflow of quality corporate accounts for our Client Services team.


Key responsibilities

  • Pitch and articulate the benefits of Hire Space 360 to high-value inbound clients.
  • Qualify recently-closed clients and introduce them to the most fitting service.
  • Drive client engagement by identifying and capitalizing on key success drivers.
  • Navigate within organizations, starting from initial inquiries and connecting with company/team decision-makers to gain top-level commitment for Hire Space 360.
  • Prospect and pitch to untapped companies and brands, elucidating Hire Space's vision and offerings.
  • Expand and engage your network of senior industry professionals.
  • Act as a stakeholder in the recruitment of new team members, working closely with the Head of Business Development.
  • Provide mentorship to junior members, sharing best practices and insights.


You should apply if you

  • Have demonstrable sales experience with fantastic results to match and;
  • Solid experience within the events industry and;
  • You thrive in a culture of continuous learning and feedback.


It would be a bonus if you

  • Have experience in a role that gives you extensive knowledge of venues in London.
  • Have previous experience selling event technology, especially virtual event platforms or event registration.

Logistics

This is a hybrid remote / in-person role. You will be required to work from our Central London office location on average 3 days per week, and this allocation may change over time. You should always be somewhere that operates on UK time.


Our client base is predominantly in London and it is important that you are able to visit venues, clients and attend our away days in-person. You can usually expect to be in/around London on average 3 days per week, managing your own diary as appropriate.
