Who We Are

Trelleborg Marine Systems pioneered the original Ship Performance Monitor, supporting the maritime industry for more than 20 years with trusted performance solutions.

Later this year, we will launch our next‑generation Ship Performance Monitor -a major step forward in vessel efficiency, insight and operational optimisation. We are now seeking a product champion to lead the introduction and global growth of this innovative new solution.

Who You Are

You’re an experienced marine sales professional with a strong record of successfully launching new products into the market. You’ve been involved in product rollouts, marketing strategies and business development initiatives and your past successes have left you hungry for a bigger challenge. You’re ready to take ownership of a high‑potential product and drive its adoption with shipowners and ship managers worldwide.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver on the company’s strategic development plan for the Ship Performance product area
• Build deep insight into customer needs, market trends and industry requirements
• Act as a trusted advisor, translating customer challenges into strategic, value‑driven solutions
• Elevate Trelleborg’s profile in the vessel performance market and position us as the supplier of choice

What You Bring

• Proven experience in maritime sales and business development
• Strong commercial acumen and a strategic mindset
• Ability to open doors, generate new leads and build long‑term relationships
• Confidence managing complex stakeholder environments and influencing at all levels
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Technical background in maritime, ship performance systems, mechanical or electrical engineering
• A proactive, solution‑driven approach to sales
